Fuel Consumption Report

I thought this would be a very good discussion topic to have since alot of people are asking about the FC for chevrolet cruze. So to make things simple, i think a standard template should be used to report FC for easy comparison.

1. Cruze Version : SE / Normal ?
2. Current Milage : ??? KM
3. Petrol Type : Ron95 / Ron97 / V-Power ?
4. Driving Condition : 50% City 50% Highway ? or 20% Highway or 80% City?
5. Total Milage per full tank : RM95 = 450KM
6. Any modifications done to car : Yes? No? Bigger Rims? Carbon Fibre Hood ?

its staring at 11l/100km but now change to 9.4l/100km. dunno its ok or not. any ideas

4. Driving Condition : 60 hway/40 city
5. Total Milage per full tank : RM95 = 570+- km
6. Any modifications done to car : No

60% highway la bro, that's why. But I feel, if you are not afraid to try when your fuel gauge turns yellow, can go a further 50-60km minimum coz each time refill full tank only 51-52 litre..so there's 8 litre to spare in the tank.

2. Current Mileage : 5xx KM
3. Petrol Type : Ron95 some times ron 97( just to compare FC them both)
4. Driving Condition : 10 hway/90 city
5. Total Milage per full tank : RM100 = around 80-100 KM only.. or maybe less
6. Any modifications done to car : non
7.Got d car on 19th january 2012.. only drive around 500 KM.. but already done 3 to 4 times full tank refill, plus one time done by the sales man (half tank). By d way.. acceleration, speed, engine sound n timing seems to be normal..

Pls help... is this too much or normal for city driving..

that's way too abnormal. did you press the pedal too much during the traffic jam (in order to avoid ppl from other lane to cut you off or to keep swerving from one lane to another?)

How about if you do a test for 1 tank fill-up.. and drive normal (no need to hurry and ram the pedal constantly.. its jammed eitherway) then check if the FC improves? Just a note, Cruze is heavy (1.3 tonne) so if you keep on braking and pedalling, of course your FC will become worse

yeah i think its just my imagination... think i exaggerated... come to think of it, not much different compared to my saga blm.. infact better FC on highways... FYI i just took it on d highway for d first time.... but still wish d FC could be improved once i get d K&N filter installed.. also thinking of getting my hands on d Qmax-Guang Dao fuel saver/volt stabilizer... or maybe smthing from auto sun...

mine: RM 30 can go up to 200KM.....60% city 40 % highway.

How it goes

mine standard cruze 2 months old....RM 50 can go to 290KM....on weekend i use to travel JOHOR-KL...the fuel gauge show half only been use...drive speed around 120km/h-130km/h....

Full tank boleh cecah 700km.... 80% highway.......

i can get 350km only with full tank RM95.00, RON95, RM0.27/km.
killing me.. 100% town..
