List of problems with your cruze

I'll start with mine

1. Knocking/Loose sound from rear suspension when going over uneven road/bumpy road
Solution : None yet. Will check with SC during service

2. Loud Brake Hum when reversing
Solution : Get SC to install brake dampener kit. Solves the problem.

3. Wind Noise above 100kmh
Solution : If you're driving SE version, live with it =P else take out your door visor like i did. Solves the problem

Thats all for now.. hopefully. will update if anything new.

i have the same problem, but i start feel its only when i didn't warm car enuf.

Hi guys. It is time to share my problems after 1 month drive:

1.) Loud brake sound when reverse.

2.) When your stop at uphill waiting for the trafiic light, once you want to go when the light turn green and the release the brake, it will move backward a bit only will go front. It really scare me. It happends to whatever slope. Is it the car too heavy?



3.) Sport Rim easy to get scratched because it is low profile tyre. A bit not use to it.

4.) a bit under power when want to overtake car.

Is the service centre can help all these problems? Thanks if any bro here can give suggestion.

i also suffer the same situation as atan when it came to hill....the gear feel late..

is it a normal feel to all cruze...mine cruze only 2 months old....

if whatever gradient also like that, and if its isolated to a few cruze, then its the auto cluth faulty.

If all cruze are like this, then its the design.

FYI, my Civic 2011 also is like this. But only when the gradient is slightly steeper. But as compared to my other car, Chevy Optra 1.8, it can tolerate a very steep gradient, and will stay stationary at a steep slope.

My last suspicion is the FC, it seems that from those who shared on cruze's FC, its very very good... better than my 2011 Civic at 0.18/km and my Optra worse at 0.30/km.. hence it could be a tuning to save FC on the cruze as well...
